| You are guaranteed a warm welcome at Greenhead Farm, the home of Margaret and Malcolm Strang Steel who farm the surrounding land and have been welcoming guests for the past five years. Originally built in the first half of the 1800s the house has been restored, extended and modernised to provide comfortable accommodation. | |

Breakfast is served in the south facing dining room, overlooking the garden. Enjoy a cooked Scottish breakfast, porridge, cereals, fresh fruit and toast with home made jams and marmalades. Dinner is also available with reasonable notice. Fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden and local produce are used whenever possible

There is a comfortable drawingroom for
guests with central heating and an open log fire for those colder
evenings. There is a television and an abundance of books and
games to entice you to linger.

There are many fine country walks to be enjoyed
in the area. If you are energetic the Strang Steels recommend an
early morning walk on their private land where you can see spectacular views south over the Firth
of Forth, across Loch Leven and down the Fife coast. |

Edinburgh is a 45 minute drive, or you can use the Park and Ride (free parking) at Rosyth St Andrews and the East Neuk coast are an easy drive where you will see pretty villages, good pubs and restaurants and the world famous "Old Course" at St. Andrews RSPB Nature Reserve at Vane Farm Stirling Castle and Glamis Castle Culross and Dunfermline Abbey Blair Castle and Edradour Distillery Retail therapy at the House of Bruar |
