UPPER COURT
UPPER COURT is a rambling, peaceful Elizabethan house
with a friendly atmosphere and large garden, orchard and
duck pond. Although the traditional character of
the house has been maintained, home comforts, such as
central heating, have not been overlooked, while still
using log fires.
Susan looks forward to welcoming you, most visitors come more
than once!
The house is surrounded by a large
garden and orchard and lies near the end of a no-through
road. Two guest bedrooms look out over the croquet
lawn at the front, the other over the kitchen garden and
duck pond behind.
The Tudor dining room is where
breakfast is taken around one large table in front of a
huge log fire. Once lit, in winter, you will find
it hard to leave! Enjoy a hearty full English or
continental breakfast, using local produce and home
grown fruit and vegetables whenever possible.

The oak
panelled sitting room with its log fire is a
wonderful room to relax in afterwards.
The attractive towns of
Bromyard, Ledbury, Leominster, Ludlow and Malvern are
all within half an hour's drive, as are the cathedral
cities of Hereford and Worcester - each with interesting
churches, shops, museums and markets.
Herefordshire also has several distinguished old houses
which are open to the public, from the enchanting
farmhouse of Lower Brockhampton to the Victorian
extravaganza of Eastnor Castle. There is wonderful
countryside all around including the Malvern Hills and
the Black Mountains. FURTHER
